Rubber Duck Baby Shower Decoration and Centerpiece Ideas

Start your rubber duck baby shower decorating off with a Rubber Ducky Personalized Banner. Place it over the main shower table.

To create a stunning splish splash baby shower decor, you'll need to recreate a bathroom feel with bubbles, crisp white fresh towels, soap, miniature bathtubs, blue balloons, and streamers.

Blow up some blue and clear balloons with helium and some with air. Let some of the helium filled balloons float to the ceiling. Scatter the ones with just air on the floor. These are going to look like bubbles.

Use different colors of blue balloons for this rubber ducky theme. You can also tie some of the helium filled balloons onto fishing wire and tie to a balloon weight. Place at waist height. Now you will have bubbles at every level.

A bubble machine would be great for this fun baby shower theme. Place in the entrance of the shower or anywhere you want bubbles. It is soap, so don't place it somewhere it can ruin any furniture.

Your colors for this baby shower duck theme are yellow, blue, white, with touches of orange.

Centerpieces are always a major part of any event. A duck diaper cake would be a great for a rubber duck centerpiece idea. Make your own or purchase a diaper cake and add rubber duck toys, blue ribbons, and duck accessories to really make a stunning duck centerpiece.

Another rubber duck baby shower centerpiece idea is to purchase mini tubs and place blue balls (or small blue balloons) in them. Sit a yellow rubber duck on top of the "bubbles". Roll up wash cloths and place by the side of the tub. You can place bubble bath, pretty soaps, candles, and anything else bath related as well.

Galvanized buckets are a great idea for a centerpiece and to place food and punch in. For the centerpieces, just fill with baby bath stuff. You can wrap it in tulle and it becomes a centerpiece and a gift all in one.

You can also place blue water in the buckets and float duck candles or yellow rubber ducks in them.

One of the most simple centerpiece ideas is to tie balloons onto a stuffed yellow duck and place in the middle of your table. So easy!

Add that bathroom feel to the whole room with shower curtains (replace your regular curtains), towels, fluffy bathrobes on hooks, slippers, ect.

Rubber Duck Baby Shower Games

Printable Baby Shower Games

Printable games make the shower planning a breeze. You can get games like Baby Shower Bingo, Mad Libs, Word Scramble, Name That Baby, and many more. Makes life just a little bit easier! Print instantly.

Cotton Ball Scoop

You'll need 2 large bowls, a large spoon, and cotton balls.

Fill one bowl with cotton balls. Place the empty bowl on the player's head. Blind fold her. Place the bowl filled with cotton balls in her lap. Give the player the large spoon and have her ladle the cotton balls from the bowl in her lap to the bowl on her head (you'll need to hold the bowl on her head). See how many she can get in a time limit. This is really hilarious, as the players usually don't pick anything up, yet they are so careful.

Baby Duck Memory Tray

Before the rubber duck baby shower, prepare a tray with duck baby items on it. Items like...wash cloths, towels, bath robe, bibs, bubble bath, bottle, rattle, pacifier, ect. At the start of the shower, show everyone the tray. Take the tray away and don't mention it for a while. Later on in the rubber ducky shower, give everyone a piece of paper and a pencil. The players must write down as many items as they can remember. The player with the most right answers, wins.

Candy in a Baby Bottle

You'll need a large plastic bottle (place a picture of a yellow duck on the side) and yellow candies for this baby shower game. Fill the bottle with the yellow candies. Let everyone guess how many candies are in the bottle.

Rubber Duck Baby Shower Cake Ideas

Making a duck baby shower cake is not hard. Just bake two round cakes. Ice the first layer and lay the other cake on top. Hollow out some of the middle to look like a bath tub and frost with white frosting. Scoop some whipped cream into the "bathtub" to look like bubble bath. Make bubbles out of fondant and place around the "tub". Set a yellow rubber ducky in the "tub" as well. You can also make a faucet out of fondant.

Another really easy rubber duck baby shower cake idea is to bake two 9 inch round cakes. Ice them with blue icing. Use a plastic baggie with the corner cut out to make "foam" and "bubbles". Set 3 rubber duckies on top. So simple and so easy. Baby shower rubber ducks would be cute.
