Your Rockstar invitations can be store bought or homemade. It really depends on how many you are inviting and how much time you have.

If you have more than about 8 people that you want to invite, it can be pretty time consuming making the cards. Only you know your time schedule.

Rock Star Baby Shower Decorations and Centerpieces

It really depends on what shower supplies you get as to what your color scheme should be. I recently did an awesome Rock Star birthday party and we used black, red, purple, and silver. It was so cool.

I bought the Party Like A Rock Star Supplies and took my color scheme from the plates. The party supplies are a great place to start and then you can add to them to really WOW everyone.

For your rock star baby shower centerpieces, you can do several things. Gift bags are always an easy way to start any centerpiece. Place it in the center of the table and add balloons that are tied to a balloon weight inside. Place black tissue in the gift bag to finish it off.

You could also spray paint records silver and place them on the table. Set a candle in the middle of the record.

If you want to really go all out, then add in guitar cases, drum cases, stars, Jumbo Magic Microphones , fake diamonds, Rock Star energy drinks, silver and red flowers and foliage, and anything else that is about rock stars. To bring in the fact that this is a baby shower, you can scatter hard plastic binkies on the table as well.

You could also make a Rock Star diaper cake. Add ribbon, clothes, and toys in your chosen color scheme for a coordinated look.

Since this is a baby shower, you can string a clothes line up and put Rock Star onesies, baby jeans, tiny boots, rockstar bibs, ect. on it.

Fog machines will give it that concert feel. Have Rock and Roll music playing in the back ground or hire a band.

If you're having a sit down dinner, use crystal and silver to go all out glam. These diamond ring napkin holders would look great holding the napkins. Set them on the plates for a very glamourous rockstar look.

It's always cool to make a special place for the gifts. Have a table set up and a chair that the Mom can sit in to open the presents. If the back drop is awesome, then the pictures will be great.

So for this shower theme, set Mom up with a "stage" to open her gifts on. Place a curtain behind the table. Set the table in front. Place some really cool Rockstar decor on the table. Decorate a chair with ribbon, tulle, and red roses. You can even use large pots with real or fake plants and flowers. Make it extra special and it will always be remembered in the photos.

Play music trivia, but give it a twist. All the questions must be about songs that have the word baby in them.

Star Baby Bottle Sucking Game

You'll need baby bottles for everyone. Doll them up with stars or guitar stickers.

Fill the bottles about half full with a liquid. Pop, juice, milk, water, or anything else. Don't fill them more than that. It really is quite hard. See who can empty her bottle first. Or him. This is so fun to see guys playing. Maybe if you fill the bottles with something a little stronger than pop, they'll be more apt to play. For some extra fun, you can heat the nipple up so that it closes up. No matter how hard the player sucks, they will not be able to get any out!

Don't Say "Baby"

Make backstage passes and string on a long piece of ribbon. As each guest comes in the shower, hang a backstage pass around her neck and instruct her that she can't say the word "baby". If she does, someone can "steal" her backstage pass card. Keep this game going the whole shower. The player with the most backstage passes at the end of the shower, wins.

Rock Star Baby Shower Cakes

Cupcakes would be perfect for this theme. You can make plain cupcakes and add guitar or star cupcake picks. I ordered some from our local bakery and they turned out really cute.

A guitar cake would be cute too. Use black licorice for the strings.

Rock Star Baby Shower Favors

At the Rockstar birthday party, we gave out Pop Rocks and guitar bubbles, but I think that this calls for something a little more grown up.

So here's a great "fancy" rockstar shower favor idea. Purchase wine glasses and fill with silver covered candy (Kisses would work great). Cut a piece of tulle and wrap the glass. Tie the top with a pretty ribbon and add stars hanging off of the ribbon.
