Green Baby Shower Theme ~ Hand Me Down Shower

This Green Baby Shower Theme is such a great idea. It's hard coming up with eco friendly baby shower gift ideas, but this one is perfect. Reusing baby items is a smart and earth friendly thing to do.

I just had a baby shower and I thought I would share with you what we did. This is my third child but I have given away most of what I had from my other kiddos.

I'm older so I most likely will not have more. I love the idea of hand me downs and reusing baby items because we go through them so quickly. And let's face it, not everyone has room to store it all.

I decided on a green theme baby shower. All items were to be hand me downs or gently used or from a resale store.And anything that I couldn't use was donated to a local women's shelter.

Some people really got into it and used recycled paper or regifted items. Others just brought bags of clothes and items they didn't use anymore and others gave gift cards. We had eco-friendly plates, napkins and silverware with green and pink colors.

My sister even gave me a cute top made by a company called Green. It ended up being a lot of fun. I'm sure people could come up with fun games and other themes to go along with the hand-me-down shower theme.
