Frog Baby Shower
The Frog Baby Shower theme is extremely popular. It's an easy theme to do for a baby girl or a baby boy.
And what a cute theme it is. I personally bring in a garden feel as well. You don't want to go over board on green.
If your party is for a girl then bring in some hot pink daisies. If it's for a boy, then bring in blue hydrangeas.
Use a yellow flower if you don't know the sex of the baby.

Frog Baby Shower Decorations and Centerpiece Ideas
Your colors for this shower are green, yellow, and white. If the shower is for a girl, add in touches of hot pink. If the shower is for a boy, then add in touches of periwinkle blue.
If you're not sure of the sex, you could add touches of orange.
Like I said earlier, this theme just cries out for a little bit of a garden theme to go with it. Flowers are a great touch to any shower theme.
Use green balloons in bouquets of 3's or 5's. Tie green ribbon onto them and place them around the shower area. If you're creative you can draw a frog face on the balloons with a permanent marker.
Create a garden feel with fake or real plants and trees and flowers. Place Mini Frog Bean Bag Toys here and there.
For your centerpieces, use a large bowl and place blue glass beads in the bottom. Fill with water that you have tinted blue. Float plastic lily pads in the water. You can hot glue plastic frogs onto the lily pads
if you'd like. Cut the stems off of silk flowers that match your chosen colors scheme, and float in the water as well. You can also use floating flower candles.
Another great centerpiece idea is a frog diaper cake. Use colors that match your color scheme and add in frog stuffed toys. A garden pail with flowers and a frog hanging over the edge is a really unique centerpiece idea.
For the plates and cups, use solid partyware. Green would be great, but you can also use your accent color. Pink, blue, or orange. Any theme can get tacky, so try not to go too frog crazy. The extra
colors help with that.
Frog Baby Shower Games
Flies In A Mason Jar
You'll need a large mason jar and plastic flies for this baby shower game. Fill the jar with the flies. Let everyone guess how many flies are in the jar. The guest who gets the closest, wins.
Name The Baby Animal
The players must write as many animals and their baby's names as they can think of. Some examples would include, dogs-puppies, cats-kittens, bear-cub, ect.
Printable Baby Shower Games
Printable games make the shower planning a breeze. You can get games like Baby Shower Bingo, Mad Libs, Word Scramble, Name That Baby, and many more. Makes life just a little bit easier! Print instantly.

Frog Baby Shower Food and Drinks
Keep your theme in mind when thinking about the shower food and drinks. You just need to add a few themed things to make it cute.
Here are a few "green" suggestions...
- Flower shaped sandwiches with green tinted chicken salad
- Split pea soup
- Spinach quiche
- Frog shaped cookies
- Veggie tray with green sour cream dip
- Flower shaped cookies
- Key lime pie
- Green chocolate covered pretzels
Frog Pond Punch
1 (0.13 ounce) package blue, berry flavored unsweetened drink mix
1 (2 liter) bottle Sprite or 7-up
1 (64 fluid ounce) bottle white cranberry juice
8 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup white sugar, or to taste (you can also use stevia which is a natural sweetner)
In a large punch bowl, stir together the drink mix, soda, and white cranberry juice. Taste, and stir in sugar to your liking. Float scoops of ice cream on the top if you want.
Hot glue clean plastic frogs to plastic lily pads and float on top of the punch. Place a leaf garland around the bowl and add frogs here and there.
You can use raisins as "flies" to any of the food or drinks.
Frog Baby Shower Favors
Frog Cone Baby Shower Favor
A darling little frog graces the front of this cone favor.
It's just as precious as can be.
Find out how to make it here.
You could also give a green candle wrapped in tulle. Tie with a ribbon that matches your accent color. Add a Flashing Frog Ring Light Up Toy
to the ribbon and tie in a pretty bow.
Another idea is to create a gift basket full of cute froggy items like...
- Frog shaped soap
- Frog hand towels
- Green bubble bath
- Green bath salts
- Flower seeds
- Green candle
- Frog sucker
Hang a frog over the edge and wrap in tulle. Tie the top with a wide ribbon and cut the ends of the tulle in a semi-circle.
