Diaper Cake Directions Made Easy

1. Unfold the diaper.
2. Starting at the front, roll and secure with a rubber band or ribbon.
3. Roll all of the diapers the same way.
4. Place 8 diapers in the middle of your cake base.
5. Secure with ribbon.
6. Layer more diapers around the center pillar of diapers. If you go more than 2 tiers, put a bottle filled with candy in the middle to stabilize your cake.
7. Place wide ribbon around the bottom layer and secure with double sided tape.
8. Wrap sheer ribbon around that. Place a pink pacifier on the ribbon and tie in a pretty bow.
9. Secure 3 diapers for the 2nd tier.
10. Finish off the same way you did the first layer.
11. Put pink grass on the top of the cake.
12. Cut about fifteen 2 1/2 feet lengths of curling ribbon.
13. Secure in the middle with tape around it.
14. Run curling ribbon between your thumb and scissor blades to make the curls.
15. If you're placing the diaper cake on the shower table, place the curling ribbon on top of cake.
16. If you're giving the diaper cake as a gift, then wrap in cellophane or tulle and tie the curling ribbon on the outside.
17. Cut the cellophane or tulle so that it's even on the top.
18. You could make a gift tag and attach it as well.
