Sometimes solid partyware is the only way to go. It's easy and you can always bring your theme in in other ways. You don't have to do red and green either. Create some WOW! There are so many different ways to do Christmas. Here are some great color combos for a baby shower Christmas...

Christmas Baby Shower Games

Draw Baby Santa

Give each guest a paper plate and a marker. Everyone must put the plate behind their backs and draw a baby Santa. Tell them to sign the backs of their masterpieces. The Mother-to be can be the judge of the best one. The winner wins a prize.

Guess the Christmas Baby Food

Prior to the baby shower starting, gather baby food jars. In the blender, blend different "Christmas" baby foods (pumpkin, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, turkey, ham, ect) and put them in the jars. Label the jars with numbers. Give everyone a piece of paper and a pencil. Let everyone taste each jar and guess what food it is. See who can guess the most foods.

Merry Christmas Baby Style

Give everyone a piece of paper and have them write Merry Christmas down the left side. They must list baby items for every word. Some examples would be, crib for C, highchair for H, rattle for R, and so on.

For your cake, you'll want to stay with your theme. Or make it easy on yourself and just do simple cupcakes in the colors of your shower. Add a cute little candle or cupcake pick on the top.

I think that fingerfoods are your best choice for Baby Showers. But soups are a great choice as well. Serve everything in holiday bowls and platters. Make your food table festive with decorations as well as the other areas.
