Baby Shower Cake Designs

There are a few different ways to decorate a cake. One is to make the cake in the shape of your baby shower theme. There are plenty of cake pans to help you achieve this.
Another one is to bake a cake and add toppers. This is by far the easiest. And no, it's not a cop-out.

Some of the cakes below are made with frosting, and some are made with fondant. Fondant is a little daunting at first, but it's really not that hard to work with. It's a little like playdough.
I wouldn't recommend using it for large projects though. It can really get expensive. But it's great for little projects and cupcakes. I just purchase mine. You can also make it yourself. It's quite fun.
